Salon Seudun Ampujat ry. is a shooting club operating in Salo area. The main purpose of the club is to maintain and develop the skills and physical condition as well mental vigour needed in sport shooting. Sport shooting as a hobby offers a counter balance for the present rush and stress of present-day life.

SaSA was established in 1965. The number of the members is approximately 750.
The association has a shooting range called Hevonpää in Halikko and an airgun range in the  Ollikkala school in Salo. Salon Seudun Ampujat ry offers an opportunity to go in for almost all kinds of shooting like clay pigeon, airgun, rifle, muzzle loader, small-bore rifle, pistol, running target shooting and metal silhouette shooting.

This year is a jubilee year for SaSA. The shooting club has been in operation for four decades in the Salo area. For 37 years, the main event has been the competition called Salon Kisat. 
We are expecting many foreign competitors to participate in  Salon Kisat again in July.
Our shooting range in Hevonpää has been the main scene for national as well as international competitions. The European Zone Championship in muzzle loading was held here in 2003.
